Before you ask

A few things to know

Does everyone need a separate pass?

One pass covers one RSVP party, including companions. Several parties can use the same phone, and each party can save its own pass.

What happens when wedding details change?

Published changes are sent to saved passes. Updates need connectivity and delivery depends on Apple or Google.

Does the pass work offline?

Saved text and the QR remain available offline. Following links, getting updates or uploading photos needs internet.

Who can see my pass details?

A browser must prove ownership of the reply or use a private claim link. Protected weddings still require the PIN. The QR opens the wedding page without granting access to somebody else’s personal pass.

Can we use our own cover photo?

Yes. The pass uses your invitation banner or first Story cover. Depending on the design, Apple shows a photo strip or a photo background with a thumbnail; Google uses a hero image. Removing the Story cover background also removes pass imagery.
